Ideas have always been my thing
I'm Chantalle Rose — author, educator, psychologist, and team and leadership consultant.
The thread running through all of it has been the same — a deep curiosity about human behaviour, what shapes it, and how understanding it can help us to grow.
I've spent over 25 years working in classrooms, workplaces and boardrooms, trying to understand one question above all others: why do people do what they do?
With degrees in psychology, philosophy, and education, an inquisitive mind has influenced my professional life. I've supported state and private sector nursery, primary and secondary schools. I also work as a consultant with teams and leaders in public sector and commercial organisations, with every type of team — from a handful of people who work in one room, to multinational groups collaborating across time zones and borders.
Now I'm channelling that questioning, understanding and experience into writing. My first book, An Unofficial Exploration of Swiftonomics, calls upon the extraordinary phenomenon of Taylor Swift as a lens to examine attention, culture, and devotion — drawing on psychology, philosophy, and education to explain what's really happening when millions of people don't just follow an artist, they orbit around her.
Fiction is coming too. I'm drawn to stories that explore the psychology of people under pressure — the choices they make, the worlds they create, and the surprising places the human mind goes when it has to. Narratives are swirling around in my mind and I hope that they can spill onto pages soon.
Whether you're here for the writing, interested in working together, or just intrigued — I'm glad that you're here. I'm based on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, and when I'm not working you'll most likely find me belting out a song, reading, wandering the hills, or deep in conversation — or trying to do all four at the same time. I'm always trying to understand what makes people who they are, and how we might all connect more meaningfully along the way.

The core of my creative process lies in exploring the human mind — interrogating the choices, the worlds characters inhabit or build, and the surprising mental shifts that occur when people are forced to the brink. For the time being a collection of stories is actively brewing only in my imagination, but they are demanding to be transcribed from thought to paper.
